Stability VS Instability
Faith VS Doubt
Dependence VS Independence
God VS Me
Faith VS Doubt
Dependence VS Independence
God VS Me
In James 1:6-8, we see that in these verses, it describes an instable, doubtful, independent, and me-centered person. Here is someone like the wave being tossed to and fro, someone who is easier sway from one side to the other.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:6-8
When we come to God, we should come to Him by faith, with no doubting.
When we come to God in prayer, we need to ask in faith.
A double-minded man will not receive anything from God.
He or she will not be blessed by the Lord.
Faith connects us with the blessings of God.
Doubts separates us from the blessings of God.
Doubts separates us from the blessings of God.
